Super Secret PS3 Game In 2009?
Darren Waters of the BBC’s tech blog, has reportedly been shown a secretive high profile game trailer for the Playstation 3. Apparently this trailer for the unspecified game left him ’speechless’. The mystery title is not expected to come out until 2009, but Sony wanted to show him what their rejuvenated system was capable of. A quick impression of this game after the break:
Mr. Waters goes on to write:
I don’t mean to be a tease - all I can say is that I was left speechless. If the footage I was shown truly is “in game”, as told to me by the Sony PR people, then we could be on the brink of a step change in what games consoles are capable of in terms of story-telling and immersion.
So what could this game be? God of War 3, Killzone 2, Rachet & Clank Insert Random Title…who knows, but we’re thinking that we’ll all know come E3 time.
