White Game Cube Controller Resurrected In Japan
With the popularity of Super Smash Bros. Brawl and the upcoming Mario Kart Wii, Nintendo has decided to release a new, shiny, white Game Cube controller to match the rest of the Wii and its many accessories. Now of course, the GC controller can be plugged into the Wii, and my guess is that Nintendo fans in Japan wanted to be able to play these games with the waggle.
No word on if this is coming stateside but let’s just assume that it won’t. Oh and can we all recognize the irony of the big N kowtowing to its Japan core base by reviving the GC controller for a couple games but not enabling the Wii to have a hard drive to download extra songs from two of the hottest franchises going right now? Lovely.
