Virtual Console Update: Ninja Gaiden III/Phantasy Star II
Well, its about time that a decent VC Monday rolls around again. Two classic games are ready for your downloading pleasure. Ninja Gaiden III: The Ancient Ship of Doom - 500 Wii pts (fantastic title btw) should need to introduction as its the third NES game in the now famed series. You jump and cling and throw ninja stars at enemies. Good stuff.
Next up is the fan favorite Phantasy Star II (800 Wii pts.) for the Genesis. Old school RPG fans have been clamoring for this one and now its here. Download and enjoy some of that 16-Bit goodness. Full press release after the break.

Nintendo adds new games to the Wii™ Shop Channel at 9 a.m. Pacific time every Monday. Wii owners with a high-speed Internet connection can redeem Wii Points to download the games. Wii Points can be purchased in the Wii Shop Channel or at retail outlets. This week’s new games are:
