Key Figures At Retro Studio’s Leave Company

Consider this as rumor until proven otherwise, but Shacknews is reporting that 3 prime members (you like that?) of Nintendo owned Retro Studios have left. Or if you believe this, have been ‘escorted off the premises’. Retro Studios is responsible for all 3 Metroid Prime games, most recently Metroid Prime 3: Corruption for the Wii.
The three key Retro members rumored to have left are director Mark Pacini, art director Todd Keller, and principal technology engineer Jack Mathews. If this ends up being true, it looks as if they might plan to start their own development company. Retro’s current project has not been revealed but it is expected to be of non-Metroid origin.
