February NPD: Nintendo, PS3 FTW
February has come and gone and we’re left with some hard data. Sales numbers to be exactly for the month for the game consoles and software. After January’s retail lull, gaming has bounced back for everyone but Microsoft it seems. They keep saying something about a hardware shortage to blame for Sony’s PS3 beating them out for the second month in a row. So the question now, is there truth behind Nintendo’s constant cry of system shortages or was Microsoft trying to get in on the system shortage action to drum up demand. If so, it didn’t work.
