Sonic Unleashed Confirmed
After images and info already leaked on the internet, Sega has now confirmed the existence of Sonic Unleashed. The next Sonic game will apparently be a hybrid of 2D and 3D gameplay and will run on what’s called the ‘Hedgehog’ engine which has been in development for multiple platforms over the past three years. Sonic Unleashed is, unfortunately, developed by Sonic Team, who’s track record over the past decade or so has been dismal at best.
No word on when Sonic Unleashed will be…unleashed upon the populous, but rest assured, some people might care. The first trailer, which I find to be not half bad, and pics after the break.
