According to a number of online sources, Alison Carroll is now going to be representing Laura Croft for the upcoming game. 23 years old and a gymnist, not only is she athletic and flexible (o god yes) but she is just damn hot!
Angelina will not be continuing her role as Laura, this makes Alison set in a list of women such as Karima Adebibe, Lucy Clarkson, Jill de Jong, Lara Weller, Nell McAndrew, Rhona Mitra, Ellen Rocche and Vanessa Demouy.
Only thing I would as is that she gets a bit of sun down under!

You heard right. The unthinkable just happened. At Microsoft’s E3 press conference today, a representative from Square-Enix was the last presenter and for his last comment, stated that the Xbox 360 would, in fact, be getting Final Fantasy XIII on launch day. This is a huge blow to Sony and their PS3 platform. Many have purchased the system waiting for exclusive games like FFXIII and Metal Gear. Well, at least they still have Metal Gear (for now).
Sony better have one helluva show coming tomorrow morning because this one announcement, more than any other thus far, gives Microsoft the clear HD gaming edge going into the holiday season.

Xbox 360 owners will finally get a chance to try Too Human, a game rife with delays and controversy. Microsoft announced that a demo will be released tomorrow, July 14. Let’s hope that this game is worth the wait (and drama).

The rumors that have been circulating for the last few weeks have come true. Today, Microsoft announced that, starting in August, the existing 20 gigabyte Xbox 360 hard drive will be phased out in favor of a 60 gigabyte drive.
Unfortunately, Microsoft seems to imply that the new hard drive and today’s $50 price drop will not go hand in hand. 60 gigabyte 360 systems are still expected to be $349 with only the leftover $20 gigabyte systems going for $300.
Of course, this could all change next week, after E3…

Guitar Hero players who’ve got that “lovin’ feeling” and “the need for speed” will have an extra reason to celebrate this 4th of July. Activision announced that the Top Gun Anthem will be free to download for Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, on both the PS3 and Xbox 360 systems. If this isn’t good entertainment for the 4th, then I don’t know what is. If Goose were alive, he’d be quite proud!

For those Soul Calibur fans who no longer have their Dreamcast systems (shame on you!), the gods of gaming have bestowed you with a gift: Soul Calibur in HD! The game is now availible on Xbox Live for 800 MS Points ($10).

Beloved SNES RPG Chrono Trigger has consistently been at the top of most ‘greatest RPG’ lists and fans have clamored for a true sequel that measured up to the original. Well, you aren’t getting it yet, but in the meantime SquareEnix has announced that a port of the game is coming to the DS. The hype for the game started when a Japanese game magazine listed Chrono Trigger as a DS release and then a SquareEnix website with a clock appeared to seal the deal.
Due this holiday season, Chrono Trigger DS will include dual screen functionality, some measure of touch screen-ness, wireless play mode, and best of all, a brand new dungeon. Though an annouced sequal would have been more satisfying, this is still amazing news. Especially for those dissapointed with the PS1 port of the game included in Final Fantasy Chronicles several years back.
Official Square press release after the break.

Lets be honest. Aerosmith was an awesome band, they are not a good game though! Having played only 2 hours total now, I am absolutely bored out of my mind! The songs play nice, and the new guitar is good, but you can only play so much Aerosmith till you don’t want to play anymore.
